Project Overview
Launch is a cross-platform automotive marketplace designed to provide a simple, transparent, and trustworthy experience for both mobile and web users. The platform streamlines the car auction process, allowing users to browse, bid, and sell vehicles seamlessly across any device.
The Opportunity
The traditional automotive auction market is hindered by a lack of transparency, complex jargon, and fragmented listing processes that create high friction for users. This project addresses the critical need for a secure car auction ecosystem by solving the "trust gap" through verified vehicle history and streamlined, cross-platform communication.

Strategy & Information Architecture
I developed a cross-platform architecture utilizing VIN-driven automation to accelerate the listing process and a structured chatbot interface to streamline buyer-seller negotiations. The design prioritizes scannable UI elements, highlighting Carfax data and key vehicle specifications to ensure a high-trust, frictionless experience on both mobile and web.
Interaction & Visual Design
The visual language utilizes a minimalist design system centered on a professional brand-blue palette and Montserrat typography to ensure cross-platform clarity. I integrated high-impact micro-interactions, such as swipe-to-confirm delivery and custom "launch" animations, to elevate the user experience while maintaining an image-focused, engaging interface.
Challenges & Results
The primary design challenge involved engineering a complex user permission system that limits buying to dealers while ensuring the mobile architecture remains flexible for future expansion. By implementing a scalable UI framework, the platform successfully balances current business constraints with long-term adaptability, ensuring a seamless transition to open-market trading without requiring a significant interface redesign.
