Revamping Plushlocks’ digital presence to establish a luxury e-commerce experience for premium hair extensions and hair care in Australia. This project focuses on optimizing the user journey to deliver a seamless, high-end shopping experience that mirrors their status as a market leader.

Plushlocks faced a critical gap between its premium products and a fragmented digital experience that hindered user trust and conversion. This presented the opportunity to re-engineer the e-commerce journey into a high-end, scalable platform that establishes them as Australia's definitive luxury hair extension and hair loss solution provider.

I engineered a mega-navigation and information architecture centered on user goals, introducing 'Shop by Look' trends and an AI-driven quiz to personalize the product discovery process. To bridge the trust gap, I strategically integrated user-generated content (UGC) and social proof across the journey, ensuring a frictionless path from landing to checkout.
Interaction & Visual Design
Leveraging a luxury aesthetic with Bugaki and Montserrat typography, I curated an image-heavy layout that prioritizes high-fidelity visual storytelling over dense copy. To ensure a high-performance e-commerce experience, I prioritized crisp usability and functional feedback over heavy animations, maintaining a fast and accessible shopping journey.
Challenges & Results
The primary challenge involved architecting a scalable design system that balanced a premium, bold aesthetic with a structure capable of serving diverse user segments.
